What we stand for
Investboard connects your personal mandate with the real portfolio and shows daily how well the two fit together.
Many portfolio tools show what you own and how it has performed. Investboard starts one step earlier. You first define your personal mandate with the goals, rules and risk limits that should guide your investing. That mandate becomes the reference point for every analysis.
That gap became tangible when David Bartas looked at his own portfolio. As a developer and self-directed investor, he wanted a tool that could organize portfolio data, explain the connections and never push activity for its own sake.
That became Investboard. It helps you stay true to your plan, understand your own investing behavior and make deliberate rather than impulsive decisions.
Mandate, portfolio look-through, German tax logic and a clear view of your own investing behavior should work together for individual investors. Our goal is an investing experience where traceable evidence matters more than forecasts, deliberate decisions matter more than short-term impulses and control remains with you.
The philosophy
Strategy creates clarity amid the noise.
Every figure leads back to a traceable calculation. Where assumptions are needed, we make them visible.
Sensitive data is encrypted and database access is isolated per user. Your data remains under your control.
Context, not prediction. Investboard shows where your portfolio has drifted from its mandate and which calculation sits behind it.
No commissions, no affiliate deals, no product suggestions. Our business model rewards neither product purchases nor frequent trading.
Investboard reads, checks and explains. It does not place orders, manage assets or issue buy and sell signals. Every decision remains yours.
Calculations follow fixed, traceable rules. AI-assisted features provide context, never certainty. Every feature must answer one simple question: does it help you follow your plan, understand your own investing behavior and make a more deliberate decision?
Investboard grew from a real investor problem. Anyone sharing personal financial data should know who builds the product and what it stands for.

David Bartas
Founder & Architect
David Bartas is a developer and self-directed investor with ten years of experience in fintech and banking. Investboard began with a question from his own portfolio: Do my decisions still match the plan I set for myself? Existing tools could show performance or execute a trade, but they did not help him determine whether his portfolio still reflected his long-term rules.
He is building Investboard as the system he wanted to use himself. It brings portfolio analysis, German tax context and a clearer view of investor behavior together without taking decisions away from the investor. Investboard is read-only, grounded in traceable calculations and designed to help people follow their plan, understand their behavior and make more deliberate decisions.
The application runs on AWS in Frankfurt; the production database is hosted by Supabase in the same region.
TLS protects every connection. Especially sensitive data also receives field-level encryption with AES-256-GCM.
Investboard processes portfolio data, but it cannot place orders or move money.
Clerk protects sign-in. Row Level Security in Supabase limits database access to each user's own data.
Define the rules Investboard uses to assess your portfolio. The demo shows how those rules turn into clear context.
